A Chinese-American analyst sentenced for spying in Iran has been liberated in a trade for the arrival of an Iranian researcher held by the US.
Xiyue Wang was captured in Iran in 2016 for "working together with remote governments".
Massoud Soleimani, an immature microorganism master, was captured at a Chicago air terminal a year ago. He was blamed for damaging exchange endorses by attempting to trade natural material to Iran.
Both denied the charges.

In an announcement, US President Donald Trump said Mr. Wang had been "held under the falsification of undercover work".
"Liberating Americans held hostage is of essential significance to my Administration, and we will keep on striving to bring home every one of our residents unjustly held hostage abroad," the announcement said.
